Future Awards

The Foundervine Future Awards (FFA) is an exclusive black-tie ceremony celebrating underrepresented entrepreneurs who are driving inclusive innovation across the UK. Featuring the prestigious Future 40, alongside curated award categories, the event honours exceptional founders while serving as a high-impact engagement touchpoint for investors, partners, and thought leaders.

The Challenge

The challenge was to design and deliver a premium brand and marketing experience that matched the exclusivity and prestige of the event. Beyond recognition, the goal was to drive applications, nominations, votes, and attendance — while presenting the Awards as an aspirational platform for celebrating diverse entrepreneurial talent.

My Role

I supported the Future Awards across two consecutive years (2024 & 2025), working as part of the Foundervine Marketing Team. My contributions spanned design, communications, and branding, ensuring every touchpoint — from pre-event comms to on-stage visuals — reinforced the ceremony’s premium identity.

1. Branding & Design

  • Created event identity assets that positioned the Awards as a premium black-tie experience.
  • Designed event decks, stage visuals, banners, and award templates to provide a polished, professional look on the night.
  • Delivered high-quality promotional graphics aligned with the brand tone — celebrating nominees and amplifying categories like Changemaker of the Year, Tech Innovation of the Year, and Consumer Brand of the Year.

2. Communications & Marketing

  • Crafted application and nomination campaigns that encouraged founders to put themselves forward or nominate peers.
  • Developed social media campaigns spotlighting categories, judges, and finalists — ensuring community buzz and audience participation.
  • Produced email marketing sequences driving voting, ticket confirmations, and event reminders, all optimised with HubSpot.

3. Event Experience

  • Designed engaging event-day decks to guide the ceremony and highlight each award winner.
  • Produced live coverage assets (winner announcements, recap visuals) to keep online audiences connected in real-time.
Created voting visuals and countdown posts to sustain momentum in the lead-up to the awards.

Creative Approach

Using Photoshop, Figma, HubSpot, and Meta Business Suite, I developed an integrated workflow that combined visual storytelling with conversion-driven comms. Each year, I worked closely with the Foundervine team to ensure the Awards maintained a consistent premium identity, while refining content based on performance data and community feedback.

Impact

  • 2024: Established the Future Awards’ premium look and feel, delivering strong engagement across applications and votes.
  • 2025: Scaled the campaign with even stronger visuals and storytelling, contributing to increased visibility and participation.
  • Drove strong engagement across social media and email, ensuring nominees and winners received amplified recognition.
  • Elevated the ceremony’s presence with high-quality event decks, branding, and real-time communications.
  • Contributed to the Future Awards’ positioning as a flagship recognition platform in the UK’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
